Over the last few weeks, small businesses around the world have struggled to find ways to continue to operate in a new reality where COVID-19 has forced government mandated shutdowns and social distancing. The impact on small businesses, their employees and their customers has been crushing.
In response to this existential threat to our small business ecosystem, I have decided to shift the efforts of our ChatLogix team to accelerate the launch of Qonvo - our b2c messaging app that is designed to keep small businesses closely connected with their customers.
We believe that Qonvo will provide a degree of relief to small businesses and their communities during this humanitarian and economic crisis. Accordingly, we plan to provide Qonvo free-of-charge to small businesses during this crisis.
Based on current planning we expect the following delivery timeline:
- April 6: Commence migration of enterprise ChatLogix functionality to Qonvo
- April 20: Begin external testing with invited businesses
- May 1: iOS and Android apps available in App Stores
- May 15: Full availability to all businesses in the United States and Canada
We will lay out a schedule for availability in other countries as we proceed.
