Qonvo 2.0.1 is now available for download in the iOS App Store and on Google Play.  Over the last few weeks we've received a ton of great feedback from merchants who are using Qonvo to chat with customers.  Based on that feedback we decided to incorporate the following new features into our updated Apps

Customer Invitations
We've made it super easy for merchants to invite customers to chat with them via Qonvo.  Using the Quick Add feature, business teams can invite customers via email or SMS directly from their Qonvo inbox.  It's another way that businesses can progressively build their list of customer connections on Qonvo

Qonvo Applets
Qonvo in-chat applets are here! Business teams will now be able to enable applets that make it easy for customers to book appointments, submit service requests, place orders and more.  Businesses can add applets to their customer-facing menu or reply with applets.  

As always, we've continued to refine other features in Qonvo.  Please keep the feedback coming.  

Next week, we're planning to launch our next highly requested feature - multi-media templated  replies!

Qonvo Awarded DC Grant

I am pleased to report that ChatLogix has been awarded a grant from the District of Columbia pursuant to Mayor Bowsers' efforts to implement programs to support small businesses as they cope with the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.  

Small businesses are a key part of our local communities.  Without those businesses, the futures of all of our communities would be dimmed.  We are thrilled to have the opportunity to use this grant to continue to rollout of Qonvo free plan to as many small businesses as possible - in DC and across the country.

Qonvo for iOS and Android

I'm thrilled to report that we have received approval from Apple and Google for the distribution of Qonvo through their respective App Stores. 

I'd like to extend a special thank you to the review teams at Apple and Google for their accelerated turn-around and to our teams in the United States and Ukraine for working around the clock to keep this important effort on schedule!

We are now beginning our live rollout with our group of beta businesses and their customers.  We'll undoubtedly run into a few hiccups but we expect to be on track for full availability on May 15.

External Testing Underway

External Testing is now underway for Qonvo and progress is good.   Thank you to our initial group of businesses and their customers who are providing feedback on Qonvo capabilities.

The following is a summary of key features that are being tested by this group on the iOS and Android apps. 


  • Onboarding process to claim or add your business
  • Setting of  branding, preferences and Qonvo handle for each business
  • Handling of team member invitations and onboarding
  • Replying to inbound customer messages
  • Inviting customers using the Qonvo invitation tool
  • Organizing customers and conversations 
  • Push notifications for inbound customer messages
  • Group messaging

  • Business search handling to find businesses nearby based on name or type of business
  • Start a conversation with a business using scan code or Qonvo @handle
  • Replying to inbound messages from businesses
  • Push notifications for inbound business messages
  • Mute conversations and delete conversations
We expect to be refining functionality and making some additional decisions about inclusion of other features over the course of the next 10 days.

Acceleration of Qonvo Launch

Over the last few weeks, small businesses around the world have struggled to find ways to continue to operate in a new reality where COVID-19 has forced government mandated shutdowns and social distancing.  The impact on small businesses, their employees and their customers has been crushing.

In response to this existential threat to our small business ecosystem, I have decided to shift the efforts of our ChatLogix team to accelerate the launch of Qonvo - our b2c messaging app that is designed to keep small businesses closely connected with their customers.   

We believe that Qonvo will provide a degree of relief to small businesses and their communities during this humanitarian and economic crisis.  Accordingly, we plan to provide Qonvo free-of-charge to small businesses during this crisis.

Based on current planning we expect the following delivery timeline:

  • April 6:     Commence migration of enterprise ChatLogix functionality to Qonvo
  • April 20:   Begin external testing with invited businesses
  • May 1:       iOS and Android apps available in App Stores
  • May 15:     Full availability to all businesses in the United States and Canada
We will lay out a schedule for availability in other countries as we proceed.
