Stop the madness

It happens all the time -  I'll open up a "chat now" launcher on a website to ask a quick question and I'm met with an in-your-face blocker like this one.

ARRGHH! Let's get this straight, they want me to fill out a form in order to ask a question.  To me this is a the equivalent of being asked to provide my email address when buying a cup of coffee.  It's intrusive and unnecessary.

Let's all start embracing WebChat done right.  First add value to the user experience then start collecting information.  Anything that is collected from a customer or prospect should be collected in order to improve user's experience.
